Were happy to announce that our our very own CMS CMSurf completed another step of development.
The most important improvements
Versioning/Clearance
Changes to content pages may be tracked, as long as versioning is active (Setting "Content/keep versions" > 1). A clearance procedure is also available.
"Languages" Module
Site translations may be temporarily disabled via the Languages module (for unpublished revisions, etc.) and all translatable static texts ("next"/"previous", module and field names, etc.) can be edited.
Messaging System
Users are now able to send messages to each other.
All-New Media Library
The new media library utilizes a windowing system simplifying simultaneous maintenance on multiple files.
Other minor changes
- It's now possible to specify a differing window titlefor navigation nodes.
- The template drop-down is only displayed if there is more than one template to choose.
- The hit counter of navigation nodes may now be reset.
- All reference selection boxes come with a hotlink to the referred selecion (yellow pen)
- Captchas are implemented with ReCaptcha and a selection of four predefined themes (Settings).
- Some widgets were enhances (Banner, HTML Snipped, News, et al.)
- The source editor got syntax highlighting :)
- "Blueprints" support in all editors (HTML files at "local/blueprints" can be loaded on the click of a button)
- Fixed a bug in Xinha's ImageManager (Pictures disappeared when one tried to edit them)
